Birmingham Water Works provides a safe, high-quality and reliable supply of drinking water to 770,000 people in Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, St. Clair, and Walker counties. We also offer and participate in many community programs, initiatives and events to share our story about the process of bringing water to the community as well as how water effects our lives.
Programs included are Drinking Water Week, Fix-a-Leak Week, Hydrate the City, our School Program, Imagine a Day Without Water, Water Works Waterboy, Wiser Water and many more.
